August 24 If my people pray
Hi , It has been a while again since I have posted, but better late than never! Be blessed as you read!
2Ch 7:13 If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; 2Ch 7:14 if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble A primitive root; properly to bend the knee; hence to humiliate, vanquish: - bring down (low), into subjection, under, humble (self), subdue
themselves, and pray, A primitive root; to judge (officially or mentally); by extension to intercede, pray: - intreat, judge (-ment), (make) pray (-er, -ing), make supplication.
and seek A primitive root; to search out (by any method; specifically in worship or prayer); by implication to strive after: - ask, beg, beseech, desire, enquire, get, make inquisition, procure, (make) request, require, seek (for) my face, and turn A primitive root; to turn back (hence, away) transitively or intransitively, literally or figuratively (not necessarily with the idea of return to the starting point); from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Today praying the Lord impressed upon my heart this scripture, over and over I felt like it was pounding me in my spirit with a hammer! And then he said “My church is desensitized and incompatible to me”. He had spoken a while ago to me the word desensitized, but I could not seem to do much with it so I wrote it out it and kept it till I knew he was ready to show me.
HERE IS THE MEANING OF THE WORD: DESENSITISED- NOT AFFECTED BY A GIVEN INFLUENCE, UNRESPONSIVE, IMMUNE TO PERSUASION, NOT SUBJECT TO AN OBLIGATION IMPOSED ON OTHERS, TO RENDER INSENSITIVE; TO MAKE EMOTIONALLY INSENSITIVE OR UNRESPONSIVE.
HERE IS THE MEANING OF THE WORD INCOMPATATIBLE-not compatatible (of benefices) not able to be filled by the same person at the same time, not able to be mixed together without undesirable results. . Adjective not able to exist together in harmony; conflicting or inconsistent incompatibility not in harmony
God is saying his church is not in harmony with him!! He is also saying that she is immune to his ways his truth, she is unresponsive. How sad that we have come to this, we the church are suppose to be a light on a hill shinning for our Saviour who died for our sins. But we the church have become a reproach to the world, we are not the light that that he so desires us to be. Hear my heart here for I am speaking the heart of the Father today. The church of Jesus Christ is sick, and there is some today crying out “is there no balm in Gilead”? Oh God pour forth your healing balm into the hearts of your sick church!!! Listen church we have got to get on our faces and cry out to God to have mercy in a time of judgement!! If we have been enticed by our lusts that are in our hearts, and have conceived sin then there better be a whole lot of repentance, sin is exactly what is being exposed in the body of Christ!!
The news in the Christian circle has not always been good news, we have seen many leaders fall from grace, not to mention how much sin goes on right in the congregation. It amazes me how blatant sin goes on in the church and is never addressed whatever happen to the scripture 1Ti 5:20 Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. We do not want to throw stones at anyone, but at the same time I believe if we are carrying the heart of the Father we have a right to discern and speak His heart. If there was more repentance preached and more of the fear of God instead of this compromise rubbish, we may see more people convicted!!! Instead we have those “seeker friendly” churches that accommodate everyone’s needs and over look TRUTH! My heart is always saddened to hear what goes on in the church, I have come to believe the reason we see so much “falling away” is due to the fact that the church does not really know who God is, the idols and lusts of the heart eventually will catch up with a person, the scripture says be sure your sin will find you out! Numbers 32:23. It is so important, especially those who are in ministry to have there hearts stripped continually before the Lord. If we see Leaders falling to sin it is because they have had lust in their hearts and in most cases it was there before they even went into ministry! When the lust has conceived it brings forth sin, then death. It not only brings about death in them but in all that is around them, it can kill dreams and hopes, and cause people to be saddened to the point of despair. It is my conviction ,that anyone who is going to get into any kind of ministry better have a walk of repentance and pure honesty before the Father, and EVERY IDOL DEALT WITH!! Even if you do not know what is in your heart seek the Lord and continually pour yourself out as an offering, a pure and broken vessel before Him. Not having a heart that thinks he or she is never capable of falling as you yourself can be tempted! Gal 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
I have been saved for 29 years and had a wonderful experience with Jesus, I have never looked back. We as Christians will always be presented with temptation (which is a test a trial) I have had my share of temptations and I have fallen many times in those temptations, thank God for his grace! I would be a liar if I said I never had fallen. The truth is what I know today (which is not much) I never knew 20 years ago, the things that made me fall would never be allowed in my heart to entice me now , I just would not allow access into those things I have been delivered from. I would not entertain them. I have been walking around the last two weeks with this heaviness in my heart for what has been transpiring in the “Christian media” Some of you may of heard ,there have been a couple of leaders that have been well known in the Christian circle, they have developed a name for themselves, they have fallen. Well it really does not shock me nor surprise me. My heart is always saddened by hearing these things. My first response is always “oh God how you must feel sad that your church is representing you as unholy”! I am really tired of the “candy coated” messages and the “greasy grace” cover up for the sins of these leaders who I might add has been elevated by man!! This is what happens when man is put on a pedestal and adored and persuaded by the recognition of man! There are many reasons why these things happen. One of the main reasons is due to the fact that sin is resident in their hearts and never dealt with. Psa 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: Psa 139:24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. So getting back to the reason of writing this, my heart was heavy, due to news that has been out there as I went before the Lord and he gave me those words. He also led me on a study regarding the reason behind most people falling. He spoke to me this: Temptation is not the sin; remember that, it is the LUST!
Jas 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Jas 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: Jas 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Jas 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Jas 1:16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.
LUST-From G1937; a longing (especially for what is forbidden): - concupiscence, desire, lust (after). From G1909 and G2372; to set the heart upon, that is, long for (rightfully or otherwise): - covet, desire, would fain, lust (after). From G2380; passion (as if breathing hard): - fierceness, indignation, wrath. Compare G5590.
A primary verb; properly to rush (breathe hard, blow, smoke), that is, (by implication) to sacrifice (properly by fire, but generally); by extension to immolate (slaughter for any purpose): - kill, (do) sacrifice, slay.
When our hearts have lust (a longing ,desire) even when we covet something, we are driven by that and then it takes root and sin is birthed! Lust is not always a sexual thing! If you covet ANYTHING!! It is a lust.
1Jn 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 1Jn 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 1Jn 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Here is a word study for James 1:13-15 Tempted-3985- From G3984; to test (objectively), that is, endeavor, scrutinize, entice, discipline: - assay, examine, go about, prove, tempt (-er), try. From the base of G4008 (through the idea of piercing); a test, that is, attempt, experience: - assaying, trial.
Apparently the accusative case of an obsolete derivation of πείρω peirō (to “peirce”); through (as adverb or preposition), that is, across: - beyond, farther (other) side, over.
LUST-1939-From G1937; a longing (especially for what is forbidden): - concupiscence, desire, lust (after).
When you are enticed with the forbidden longing that is in your heart, you have been entrapped, tricked and deceived into the wiles of the enemy, thinking you need that what you are longing for. You then start to reason with yourself into believing that it is alright that you allow yourself to get captured into this desire. When this happens you have now become in union with this lust and it becomes complete in form and sin is brought forth. We beloved are not to be ignorant of his devices, the devil like a roaring lion seeks about whom he may devour 1Peter 5;8; and again we are not just talking about sexual lust here! Whatever is in our hearts that consumes us or that we entertain is and can be a lust and an idol. The devil uses the very things that are residing in your heart! The things that are in our hearts are our own enemies! I believe that is why repentance is so important, 2Co 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Paul was continually disciplining his flesh (do a study on it).
ENTICED-1185 From the baes of G1388; to entrap, that is, (figuratively) delude: - allure, beguile, entice. From δέλλω dellō (an obsolete primary probably meaning to decoy; compare G1185); a trick (bait), that is, (figuratively) wile: - craft, deceit, guile, subtilty.
CONCIEVED-4815 From G4862 and G2983; to clasp, that is, seize (arrest, capture); specifically to conceive (literally or figuratively); by implication to aid: - catch, conceive, help, take. A primary preposition denoting union; with or together (but much closer than G3326 or G3844), that is, by association, companionship, process, resemblance, possession, instrumentality, addition, etc.: - beside, with. In compounds it has similar applications, including completeness.
A prolonged form of a primary verb, which is used only as an alternate in certain tenses; to take (in very many applications, literally and figuratively [probably objective or active, to get hold of; whereas G1209 is rather subjective or passive, to have offered to one; while G138 is more violent, to seize or remove]): - accept, + be amazed, assay, attain, bring, X when I call, catch, come on (X unto), + forget, have, hold, obtain, receive (X after), take (away, up).
BRING FORTH- 5088-A strengthened from of a primary word τέκω tekō (which is used only as an alternate in certain tenses); to produce (from seed, as a mother, a plant, the earth, etc.), literal or figurative: - bear, be born, bring forth, be delivered, be in travail. SIN-266 From G264; sin (properly abstract): - offence, sin (-ful).
Perhaps from G1 (as a negative particle) and the base of G3313; properly to miss the mark (and so not share in the prize), that is, (figuratively) to err, especially (morally) to sin: - for your faults, offend, sin, trespass. FINISHED-From G575 and G5055; to complete entirely, that is, consummate: - finish. From G5056; to end, that is, complete, execute, conclude, discharge (a debt): - accomplish, make an end, expire, fill up, finish, go over, pay, perform.
From a primary word τέλλω tellō (to set out for a definite point or goal); properly the point aimed at as a limit, that is, (by implication) the conclusion of an act or state (termination [literally, figuratively or indefinitely], result [immediate, ultimate or prophetic], purpose); specifically an impost or levy (as paid): - + continual, custom, end (-ing), finally, uttermost. Compare G5411.
DEATH-From G2348; (properly an adjective used as a noun) death (literally or figuratively): - X deadly, (be . . .) death.
The sad thing about all the corruption in the Christian circle is how the youth of this generation will look up to these leaders, many have gone to the bible schools they have established, my own son was contemplating going to the one leaders school, We need to be wise as serpents and gentle as doves . We cannot be taken by the so called signs and wonders of this time in which we live in, Jesus said himself this wicked generation seeks after a sign Mat. 16:4 We do not serve God because of signs and miracles! Nor do we believe someone just because they speak to angels! There is a lot of false misrepresentation going on in a lot of churches. Everything is being excepted because, it shows you something. Blessed are they who have not seen yet believe were the words of Jesus Joh 20:29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. The problem in this time in which we live, is everyone needs to be entertained!! I have said it before I will say t again there is a “party spirit” in the church of Jesus Christ, we now see people “sorting the Holy Ghost” and taking a “shot” of the Holy Ghost, when I saw this, I was shocked! I really did not know what to think until I left the meeting, and then my heart became grieved. That is mockery to the deity and the holiness of God!! The scary thing is that our youth are being deceived into this!! We need to get on our faces and cry out with holy passion for our hearts to be broken before God, we have been unresponsive to his heart , we have been “mixing” things of this world with the holiness of the things of God and CALLED IT GOD!!!! God have mercy on your church!! Father forgive us our sin of self-absorption and pride, search our hearts oh God and cleanse us our wicked ways that you may heal our land!
In His service michele
